Rostelecom named the leading broadband provider by number of corporate users and revenue according to the 2020 TMT Consulting rating

Moscow, Russia – April 6, 2021 – Rostelecom group (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), the largest integrated digital service provider in Russia, today announces it has been named the leading provider of broadband services for corporate entities in Russia by number of subscribers and revenue, according to ratings provided by TMT Consulting, an independent consulting agency.

According to TMT Consulting, the number of corporate broadband Internet subscribers in Russia decreased to 1.83 million by the end of 2020, resulting in total corporate market value of Rub 57.6 billion.

The agency notes that Rostelecom remains the leader in the B2B segment’s fixed broadband services both in terms of the number of connected ports and by revenues. Rostelecom increased its market share to 43% of all subscribers in 2020, due to the active promotion of high-speed tariff plans among subscribers, as well as the implementation of major government programmes and federal projects.
