Rostelecom ranked number one by the number of hosted PBX clients in the 2020 TMT Consulting Rating
Moscow, Russia – April 5, 2021 – Rostelecom group (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), the largest integrated digital service provider in Russia, today announces it has been ranked first by the number of hosted PBX customers secured in 2020, in the TMT Consulting Rating.
The latest analysis published by TMT Consulting, an independent consulting agency, shows that despite the complex business environment, the Russian hosted PBX market has grown double digit both in terms of financial and operational performance. The market volume in 2020 grew by 19% compared to 2019 to RUB 13 billion. The number of corporate clients grew by 10.5% to 359,000 enterprises.
Rostelecom was ahead of this competition based on the volume of its B2B subscriber base which increased by 28%. The Company’s revenue grew by 32%. The main driver for the expansion of the subscriber base was the launch of the ‘Home Office’ promotion within the hosted PBX service which provided a substantial influx of new customers. In 2020, Rostelecom also launched new voice services such as speech analytics, voice assistant and call tracking.
