Moscow, Russia – February 7, 2020 – Rostelecom PJSC (MOEX - RTS: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia’s national telecommunications operator, today announces the placement of its 002P-03R * series bonds at a coupon rate of 6.25% per annum. The 002P-03R series Rostelecom bonds are expected to be placed on the Moscow Exchange (MOEX) on February 18, 2020.

Proceeds generated from the bond placement will be used for a range of general corporate purposes, including financing the cash portion of the transaction that sees Rostelecom consolidate 100% stake in Tele2 Russia. The lead arrangers of the offering are VTB Capital, Sberbank CIB, Gazprombank.

Sergei Anokhin, Senior VP and CFO of Rostelecom:
Our second placement within this week coincided with the Central Bank of Russia decision to decrease the key rate which enhanced the demand for our bond issue. This enabled us to get more favorable coupon rate. Our major goal remains intact to maintain a comfortable debt structure via increase the portion of long-term and cheap money in our portfolio. Strong demand was partly supported by Rostelecom’s high credit ratings from the major rating agencies.”
