Rostelecom signs state contract for operating E-Government infrastructure in 2016

Moscow, Russia – December 25, 2015 – Rostelecom PJSC (“the Company”) (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia’s national telecommunications operator, today announces that it has signed a RUB 2.0 billion contract with the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation to operate the E-Government infrastructure during 2016.

In accordance with the contract, Rostelecom will provide a number of new services, including the maintenance of IT architecture, process control, support of integration testing, automatic error correction service for data input, and monitoring of functional scenarios of public services. The new contract also includes the implementation of numerous improvements made to the E-Government infrastructure, with new systems developed in 2015, including “Gosbar” search and navigation system and access to an Open public services platform.

In addition, in 2016, Rostelecom will render its own hardware and software services for the deployment of more than 20 state information and software systems based on the Company’s National Cloud Platform.
