Rostelecom acknowledged as the leading cloud video-surveillance provider for B2B clients

Moscow, Russia – March 31, 2021 – Rostelecom group (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), the largest integrated digital service provider in Russia, today announces it has been named the leading provider of installed video-surveillance cameras for B2B clients by Information and analytical agency, TelecomDaily, as part of a report on the cloud video surveillance (OVN) market in Russia.

Rostelecom continues lead the OVN market by the number of OVN cameras installed in Russia, with a share of 23%, almost double the share of its nearest competitor according to the TelecomDaily report. Despite a slight decrease in growth rates in 2020, the total number of OVN cameras belonging to corporate entities has doubled in two years, from 158,200 in 2018, to around 280,000 in 2019 and 320,000 in 2020. The report cites the expectation for the number of cameras to increase to 350,000 in 2021.
