Rostelecom secures RUB 35 bln credit facility from VTB Bank to refinance existing commitments

Moscow, Russia – March 28, 2016 – Rostelecom PJSC (“the Company”) (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia’s national telecommunications operator, today announces that it has signed a non-revolving credit facility from VTB Bank of RUB 35 billion, which will be used primarily to refinance existing commitments. The signing follows the Board of Directors’ decision to approve the credit facility. The term of the credit facility is 5 years and the drawdown period will last from now until the 30th June 2017. The interest rate on the credit facility is equal to the key interest rate set by the Central Bank of Russia plus an additional 1.19%.

Kai-Uwe Mehlhorn, Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, commented: “By the end of 2016 the Company must refinance around RUB 30 billion of existing commitments. In order to do this we have signed a long-term credit facility with VTB Bank, on attractive terms, which provides the resources required to improve our near-term debt profile.”
