Vice President for Digital Platforms and RTLabs CEO
Maksut Shadaev was born in 1979 in Moscow.
In 1999 - 2004 he held senior management positions in info-communications technology companies, in particular in IBS Group of Companies, where he was Head of Department for Business Development in Internet solutions division, and later he became Business Development Director.
In 2004 M. Shadaev joined the Russian Ministry of Telecom and IT as Adviser to the Minister, and then he was appointed Department Director for Governmental Programs, Infrastructure Development and Limited Resource Utilization.
In 2008 he became Assistant to the Russian President’s Chief of Staff, responsible for arrangements of activities of the Presidential Council for Information Society Development. In February 2009 he was included in the “first one hundred” of promising managers under the Russian President.
In 2012 he was appointed Adviser to the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly.
Since 2014 he had held a position of the Minister for Public Administration, IT and Telecommunications in the Moscow Region Government, and later in 2016 he was promoted to the position of its Deputy Chairman.
In September 2018 Maksut Shadaev was appointed Vice President of Rostelecom for Digital Platforms.
In February 2019 Maksut Shadaev was appointed CEO of RTLabs at the same time keeping his position of Rostelecom VP for Digital Platforms.
